Hello!
My name is Jordan, though I typically go by Jamphibious. I'm a music composer, game developer, and artist from Ontario, Canada. I've had a strong interest in both music and games since I was young, and much of my art and hobies revolve around games in some way.
One thing I've set out to do recently is to simply create more. While my most common creative output is music, I am interested in a variety of avenues for artistic expression including handdrawn art (I particularly like maps!), pixel art, game development, and desigining silly websites like this one. I hope to be able to express myself and my personality through the art I create, whatever form it may take.
My interest in games started as a kid - I'm not sure if it was when we played our first DOS games, or when my dad brought up home a Sega Gensis with Sonic 2 and Columns (the timeline is fuzzy), but my early days were spent with a mix of PC and console games. I played all kinds of games in the early 90s, from shareware DOS platformers to the awesome vibes of Sonic, Shinobi, Streets of Rage, and other Sega Classics. My uncle also had an NES we would get to play any time there was a family gathering. The interactivity of games always felt so exciting to me, so I much prefered them to something like a movie or a book (though I enjoy those as well to a lesser degree!). Since my earliest years games have been one of my favourite passtimes, and I've had a variety of PCs, consoles, and handhelds over the years. While I do have my personal favourites, I tend to enjoy all kinds of games and always love to experience something new.
